Chattanooga is the fourth largest city in the Tennessee state, United States. The city has an estimated population of 179,279(2002 census). Chattanooga lies approximately 190 km to the South West of Knoxville, Tennessee, 238 km to the northeast of Birmingham, Alabama, 190 km to the Northwest of Atlanta, Georgia and 217 km to the southeast of Nashville Tennessee. The city is home to the Chattanooga Community college and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. It is the first American City to have its own typeface. Chattanooga has received several awards over the decades including the prestigious All-America City Award.
Chattanooga economy is mainly driven by manufacturing and service industries. Coker tire, covenant transport, Access America Transport, the world’s first Coca-Cola bottling plant, CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries are some of the manufacturing industries in this city.
