Balmain's collection for H&M was announced in May but many images leaked a few days ago on Instagram. Soon after, the Swedish retailer confirmed that the pics were indeed the collection created by Olivier Rousteing, Balmain's Creative Director. Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn already gave a sneak peak of the collection by wearing some pieces on the red carpet these lasts months.
Olivier Rousteing, 29, created a complete line with 50 pieces and the whole collection is completely faithful to Balmain's spirit, using recognizable features: embroidery, sequin, bright colors and epic accessories. Prices will start at $29.90 yet the collection includes a limited edition item: an embellished black and white dress worn by Gigi Hadid to a New York Fashion Week event. Be prepared to spend more than $600 to get it. The Balmain x H&M collection will be available from November 5 at 50 H&M stores in the US.
In the meantime, you will be able to get your hands on H&M's brand new beauty line, quite exhaustive with more than 700 items. Of course there is (a lot of) make-up, but the range also includes haircare, bodycare, styling essentials, a premium beauty line and a collection of Ecocert-approved sustainable products. The beauty collection is sold in more than 900 stores worldwide with prices starting at $2.99.
