The Bob Evans location has actually been derelict since way back in October 2017. Since then West Side Evansville residents have been wondering what will take its place. It wasn't till the end of 2018 that Panera Bread officially signed a lease to take over the space.
Panera Bread residents currently have to head over to 220 N. Bukhardt Rd in order to get their favourite foods. This Evansville location is on the Campus of Deaconess Gateway Hospital, but this new location is set to be a big improvement on the existing location. Because of the complete rebuild, the Panera Bread location will be brand new, and beautifully designed with an extensive menu and include many items not offered at the other branch.
Panera Bread are well-known for offering a huge selection of salads, pastas, soups and of course, sandwiches. they also offer a large selection of breakfast items including a morning continental breakfast that comes with a selection of bagels, pastries, cheese, butter as well as orange juice.
